Поїздка в зону АТО на початку лютого 2015 року.

Невелика розповідь про нашу (1-й Український Батальйон Військових Капеланів)останню поїздку в зону АТО.

 
Як ви всі вже знаєте, бачення батальйону – це служіння військовим на передовій і в тилу ЗСУ та тереторії батальйонів.
На цей раз ми відвідали три розташування наших бійців.
Провідали 95-ту ПДВ бригаду. Передали адресну посилку бійцеві від наших друзів (жіночого підрозділу “Шалені Бджілки” з міста Біла Церква).

Потім, ми вирушили в 44-ту до артилеристів, там у нас була домовленість залишити в них нашого капелана на семиденний строк, для духовної та психологічної підтримки серед особового складу.

Ті бійці, які були в боях і побували на передовій, серед них є втрати, є і двохсоті і трьохсоті. Хлопці дуже потребують підтримки.

Звичайно, ми не приїхали з порожніми руками, привезли трохи продуктів, кілька форм, спальників, комплектів нижньої білизни і ящик медикаментів.

Командир нас прийняв дуже добре, пригостив кавою і перед від’їздом дав можливість щоб ми помолилися і благословили офіцерський склад і командира. Слава Богу їх серця відкриті і вони розуміють важливість молитви і захисту від Бога!

Потім ми поїхали в селище Піски, “ДУК” (там ми теж залишили капелана на допомогу Віктора Шпотю), в саме селище не заїхали зустрілися в “Республіка Міст” і там спілкувалися з хлопцями з Дніпро-1 і кіборгами з ДУКа. Коли приїхав Віктор з Пісок, була дуже дружня і тепла зустріч, тому що Віктор був самий перший польовий капелан якого ми відправили на стоянку до бійців.

Там ми перевантажили продукти, медикаменти, помолилися під мостом за капеланів і бійців, благословили їх на служіння і поїхали додому.

Хочу лише додати, що це наше з вами спільне служіння, всі ті люди, які жертвують гроші, продукти, речі, паливо – ви всі учасники Божої справи. З нами була Марина Орешник, це сетра яка, поїздки такого роду, як дві ночі і один день в дорозі, переносить набагато краще ніж деякі брати! Слава Богу за служителів відважних і надійних, які служать з нами в батальйоні!

First Ukrainian Battalion of Army Chaplains.

Here’s a short summary of our recent trip to the front lines.

As you already know, the vision of this battalion is service to the soldiers at the front and in the service of the Ukrainian Army.
During this trip, we visited three different groups of soldiers.
We spent time with the 95th VDV Brigade and gave them a parcel from our friends “The Crazy Bees”, a group of women from Bila Tserkva.
Afterwards, we went to the 44th, (the artillery boys). We had organized to leave one of our colleagues there for a week of spiritual and psychological support for the soldiers.

The soldiers who had been involved in fighting at the front had experienced losses, both through death and injury. These boys were in real need of encouragement.

Of course, we didn’t come to them with empty hands either. We brought some produce, some uniforms, sleeping bags, thermal underwear and medicines.

The commander welcomed us with coffee and before we left, gave us an opportunity to pray with the officers and bless them. Praise the Lord for their open hearts and their belief in the importance of prayer and protection of the Lord.

After that, we went to the village of Peski, “D.U.K.”. There we left another chaplain to help Victor Shpotya. We didn’t actually go into the village but met on the “Republic Bridge” with boys from Dnepr-1 and the Cyborgs from D.U.K. When Victor joined us, it was a joyfully warm reunion. Victor was the first chaplain who we sent out to join the soldiers. There we unloaded the produce and medicines we’d brought with us and then prayed, (gathered under the bridge), for the chaplains and soldiers. We prayed a blessing upon their ministry and then drove home.

I want to add that this service was something that we did together with you. All the people who have sacrificed finances, produce, diesel and other items played a big part in this ministry. Marina Oreshnik came with us and honestly, she showed greater fortitude over the course of a day and two nights than some of our brothers! Praise the Lord for the faithful and courageous servants who serve with us in this battalion.
